Help on choosing speakers

Ok here is the situation, I currently own a Yamaha HTR-6160(I think is the same as the VX-663 model) receiver I use it mostly for watching movies and playing games. My room size is 16'X11'X11' tall with a passage into a small kitchen. I'm about to snatch a deal on a good velodyne subwoofer. But this will leave me on a low budged to upgrade my fronts. I was about to order a couple of polk Monitor 70's that were 400 a pair just based on reviews and specs until I read the more specialized sites like this one. Now the biggest problem is that I'm currently located outside the US so there is no way for me to go do an audition on speakers!!! I'll order them online and then my relatives will sendthem to me. Any recommendations on speakers under 500 are more than welcome!

I'll probably go with them, But I just found the Infinity P362 for $199 each shipped. How do the EMP'S compare to the Infinity's and the Monitor 70's? thanks for the help! I really appreciate it. oh by the way I was looking for some Infinity beta but they are nowhere to be found!
