Looking for help here folks!
My parents are remodeling their house. They are gutting it out and completely renovating. I am doing the honors of helping them with a nice little set up for them to enjoy their living room. Keep in mind we are talking about two people who are not very technical at all! They were going to just buy a bose system because they know people who have it and love it!
Here is the situation, The room in a ranch style house that is roughly
14x18 (3 walls) that opens up to the kithen. It is a vaulted ceiling with hardwood floors. They are spending a lot to remodel so I want to keep the cost down on this as much as possible. They will be using mainly for watching TV and listening to music around the house. They want a nice clean look and nothing extravagant. We are going with Samsung 55inch LED TV for display.
Because they want no speakers on the floor my mom wanted some slim speakers that could be placed on the side of the TV perhaps in wall as well as a center channel that is in wall or on a shelf.
I started doing some searching and I came up with these as a recomendation. I thought the onwall would be a much better option than in wall. AXiom on wall V2 or V0 with Axiom VP100 on wall.

I am putting the receiver, dvd, and cable box in a different room so I am also looking for an RF remote that is not to pricey.
In summary I am looking for mains and center that are in wall or on wall . A slim design would be ideal for the mains (no more than 6 to 8 inches in width). I havent picked out the surrounds but those will be mounted on the wall. Looking for RF remote as well.
