Help needed Grado SR80 or Senn HD555

Hi, I´ve finally narrowed my choice to the following two models:

Grado SR80
Sennheiser HD555

the criteria used was:
PRICE, as both go for +/- 120€,

Sound quality, and here i must say that I will need all the help I can get as they both have good reviews on the net, lastly

Comfort and Style, here the Senns are winners, from what I´ve read the Grado lack comfort.

Any opinions on these cans.

Any help will be gratefull.

I enjoy all thypes of music, jazz, pop, reggae, and action films.

That isn't a fair comparison. The 555 is priced equal to the Grado 125. I say the Grado. I bought the 225's today, was not that much better than the 125's and the Senn's weren't in the same league. The Grado's are crisp, accurate, clear..Senn's were muddy compared. More bass maybe, but muddy. ..The Grado's were more comfortable too. No comparison. Trust me.

The sound is purely subjective, get ones that sound the best to you. I have both Senns 580s and Grado SR80s. Very diferent sounding cans. To me the Grados are very in your face, like you are sitting in the middle of a punk rock band. The Senns 580s are much more balanced and smooth. If I had to pick only one it would be the 580s, but thats me, you might feel the reverse.

not a fair comparison. The Grado 125's and the 225's kick *** on Senn's. The 80's are a significant step down.
