Help needed for newbie

Hello,

I have a Marantz SR18 that is not conected for theater set up right now but wanted everyones or anyone opinion on if I would get better surround sound from a Denon AVR 4306? not sure if it is worth getting the Denon? will the Surround sound be that much better?

Yes it will, especially when you use the auto speaker setup that uses Audyssey MultEq XT.
