Help me troubleshoot DolbyVision

Last night I streamed Wonder Woman on HBOMax (using Roku Ultra). The movie listing said it was DolbyVision but I only got HDR10. I know my receiver can pass DV because I can see the DV logo when I watch something on disc.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? I looked through Roku settings but didn't see anything that looked applicable. I think I have a 2.1 certified HDMI cable on the Roku, if that matters.

So it wasn't supposed to be in DolbyVision? False advertising is a bummer.

Did you try going to the settings menu on your Roku and navigate to Display Type?. Set it to auto and your Roku should find the highest resolution signal that it can output based on your other equipment (AVR, TV)

I had a similar issue. My Roku was showing it could only output 1080p but It was because I had my ARV on the wrong HDMI output mode. Once I set my Yamaha 3060 to Mode 1, the Roku indicated it could receiver 4k, HDR and Dolby Vision.
Mind you this changing from Mode 1 to Mode 2 has to be done in the root menu when the receiver is actually off. I don't know about Denon receivers though.
