Help me to choose Speakers for Marantz SR7005

Hi,

I have lost my mind and i ordered the new Receiver Marantz SR7005. I'm in the begining of a project to a complete sound system in my new house with networking integration. I started with the receiver, now i need a pair of good stereo floorspeakers.
In the market there are many labels and i am no expertise.
For now the main purpose is play stereo music with good quality, especialy classical music, jazz and bossa nova.
My budget is around 1000€.

What do you recommend?

It's hard to recommend speakers as your sound preference is different from mine. What I suggest is go to your local upscale audio store and listen to their floor models. Don't forget your favorite music. I prefer Yes to test speakers, myself.

Yes i have a problem of budget because i spent more than i have expected in the receiver.
I know that the "good sound" is a personal question, but i want a balanced system and i'm afraid that i choose speakers that are very bad for the receiver of very good (not probabile). So i ask for a advice.

There are many labels in Europe, the most well known are:
Monitor audio - I thin in RX6 or RX8
KEF - I think in the IQ90
Wharfedale - Not Sure
Ikon- Probably Ikon5 or Ikon 7
Advanced acustic
Qacustic
Jamo

Look into Paradigm. The monitor series are very good for the price or if you wanted to cough up a couple extra bills the studio series is excellent as well. The other great alternative I would recommend is anything from Energy. I hope these are available by you to test.

This guy sounds like me...he bought something and got out of his mind and now he must wait to get the best to go with it hahaha!...wait 1000 euros means like 1500 cnd?...for this price and taking in consideration that the receiver you bought is 125 watts per channel you have a lot of choices!...guys here must think im biased but i have owned the paradigm monitor 11v5( they are now to v6!) and i can tell you they deliver...any kind of music sounded good with them but of course there are better speakers if your willing to pay more!...i paid 1400$ cdn for the monitors at the time!..
