Help me to choose my speakers I have 3 options

Hi this is my first post and I need some help to decide what speakers are right for me.

My bedroom is 11x12 and it's an apartment, so I don't care about volume all I care is crystal clear sound.

My reciever is a RX-V565 Yamaha, and this are the 3 options that I have (I don't have access to other brands so...)

All Infinity

Option 1:
Center - PC250
L-R-RR-RL - P-142
Sub - PS 28

Option 2:
Center - PC350
L-R - P-362
RR-RL: P-142

Option 3:
the TSS-800

What I don't know is if using the towers in a small room is not worth it, even when my goal is clear sound

Option 2 is by far the best choice.

Option 1 would be improved by the center in Option 2.


Get Option 2 if you can.

Option 3 is a joke and not worthy of the brand name

Size and clear sound are in no way related.

Whats your budget? The Axiom M22 at just under $500 will give you very clean detailed sound. Some say brutally clear sound because you will hear everything in the recording good and bad.

thanks for the ideas, like I said I don't have access to other brands, well Bose is here but you know... and the other is Yamaha but I hear Infinity it's better,

the 350 center is way better than the 250. So make sure you get it or another bookshelf.

the 362 have a good midrange which can be lacking in some of the infinity speakers.

Stay AWAY from Bose...
Infinity or Axiom are fine...They are both better than Yamaha which is decent.
To me Bose = no highs no lows just Bose

Yamaha has some good speakers out there. Don't be so quick to dismiss them.

Remember listening and trials are the best way to decide what speakers to get.

I finally got my first system option 2 was the winner

362 for L-R
350 for C
and 2 p142 for the surround

Now to be honest I'm not super impressed with the center channel, any chance that I'm not using it's full potential by using my RX-V565 Yamaha receiver?

BTW I don't hear any kind of music so what I'm looking is to optimize this for movies, it's truth that some receivers works better for music and others for movies?

Those speakers are pretty sensitive and as such don't need all that much power to get loud. Honestly, I think that receiver should do fine for now, that is as long as it has all the features you are looking for.

There are a lot of setup features in the receiver and many simple room adjustments and/or treatments that you can do to correct the perceived audio from the system. Sometimes, the fault does not lie in the speakers but often in the setup and even more often with the acoustics of the room itself.
