Right now i have a denon x4000 and Andrew Jones pioneer speakers(2 towers 1 center and 4 bookshelfs) I could put the surrounds on stands but it will be close to the two ends chairs(wont be used much as only the 4 middle seats get used regularly) and the right stand will also be in the middle of the floor. Was also thinking of sticking one above the air hockey table and other on the wall above the arcade machine but would think that is to far back. Only place i could see to put rears would be on the beam that runs above the arcade machines but dont know if that would be to close to the surrounds if i put them on the walls instead of stands. Also not against in ceiling speakers but heard they are not near as good as bookshelf speaker that are on stands or wall mounted. Thanks

I would just skip the side surrounds in your case. One on a wall and one on a stand or both on stands is the best option IMO. You could also consider in celing for the two side surrounds. I have mine on stands very near to the listening position due to space limitations and high ceiling too and it works just fine, but I went 5.1 instead of 7.1 for this reason.
