I am really struggling in picking a DAC for my 80Ω headphones and JBL 305 speakers. I have found these, all 24-bit 96 Hz DACs. Pinell (70$) got 2x RCA, the Hegler (120$) got 1x 3.5mm Jack and can use Minijack to RCA connector, and lastly, the AudioEngine D1 (180$) is a mixture and got both connectors.
But how far can one go to say that there is really a noticable difference between these models, despite being in very different price ranges?
