Help Me Pick A Subwoofer? $300!

I am listening nearfield, and my sub will be right between my speakers, under my desk, so output volume does not need to be high.

My speakers are:
KRK VXT 6
Frequency Response: 52Hz - 22kHz +/-1.5dB

I can save more than $300 if necessary. I just want something that will well-compliment my setup, though. Something good, but not excessive.

check out the emotiva Ultra 10. It should give you nice tight bass to go with those monitors

Another good sub in your budget is the Hsu Research STF1, which is on sale right now. There is also the Lava LSP10, which doesn't look so bad.

It looks like Emotiva is blowing out Ultra 12s cheap on ebay. A few bucks over budget ($341 with 10% coupon - see page) and there are only 2 left but it's perfect for what you want.
