Help me pick a HT receiver for my PDP5010FD

Hey all, just need some ideas on which receiver would go well with my 5010.

I guess I do not need upscaling as my baby will do that for me, and I do not want to break the bank max $600 US. I will use it more for HT and gaming but also enjoy clasical/rock music. My kids also have ipod touch so that would be a requirement as well.

For speakers I have decided on a SVS PB12-NSD sub, and have Axiom QS4's, VP100, and a couple of nice old PSB Stratus Silvers for mains. My rliving room is 12 x 19 x 8

I want a rock solid easy to set-up unit to replace my Onkyo TX-SR503 which still works pretty well but doesn't have "real" punch or HDMI capability.

Please help a fellow out and give me some idea's. Thanks :)

Your budget is nearly at the Onkyo RC180 price point - this is a refurbished AVR. It's the cheapest networking AVR available - and a near twin to the Onkyo NR807 - it just has a few less features. Networking isn't for everyone - having internet radio is very handy for background music for when you just don't have the time to tend the CD player and don't want to fuss with booting up the PC for some background tunes. I've had my networking (Integra DHC 40.1) AVP for a couple of weeks now and really like it. The best feature you won't be using much is the firmware upgrading over the net. This took me all of 15 minutes and a few button pushes on the remote.

If staying inside your budget is a priority take a look at the Denon 790/1910. Dakmart.com carries refurbished 'B' stock Denon products if you wish to save a few $s.

Each of the AVRs above have Audyssey MultEQ - probably as good as room correction program as there is in this price range.

Thanks :) how do you like the Integra?

I have tried to view them at some shops but they say they are all for "home total systems" and are not set up for retail sales of individual components... I could not even get a price quote which I thought was weird. I guess they want to cater to customers that purchase whole system install with home lights/security/camera/lighting/screen networking.
