Hi, I am currently going to upgrade my TV.
I want a flat screen, light weight LCD or Plasma HDTV.

I am currently undecided on the screen size yet becuase the price vary dramatically, and my budget is around $1500.

Sony Bravia XBR1 is quite impressive, but I can only find a 32" one with $1700. There is the Westinghouse with 37" w3 runs at 1080p for the same price. And I have not yet look at the Plasma HDTV.

Can poeple here please make some suggestions to help me on choosing the right HDTV?

Thank you.

PS. If I can wait another 3-4 months to upgrade, would the price fall dramatically?

I'd go with the Westinghouse if you're stuck between those two. Better picture, bigger screen, etc. Westinghouse is becoming a player in the LCD market. Otherwise, you can look at the Panasonic and Phillips Plasmas in 37" sizes. Usually found around $1999 or less in Best Buy and online. Or Panasonic's 42" EDTV Plasma is usually around the same price too. It all depends on what you're looking for.
