Help me diagnose my PreOutputs on Denon Receiver

Microprocessor reset done.
Zone 2 and Zone 3 giving me no output.

So I decided to test by looping it.
I tried Zone 2 and Zone 3. Looped it to VCR as well as DBS.
No audio..

In the same setup with the same amp, when I plug it into Pre 1/Zone 1, all is well.


Am I missing anything in setup that would be defeating Pre2/Pre3 Output.
This is on a Denon 4806,


FWIW, I've never used the preouts on this AVR...everything else works just fine on it though

Have no idea what you mean by “looping,” but many receivers’ secondary zones will only with analog audio signals. If you have only digital audio connections between your source components and the receiver, you’ll have to add analog connections as well.
