So after begging the wife during covid lock down and our gaming and movie watching is up by 100% I have a budget of MAX $1000 for a woofer the question however is this.

Two svs pb-1000 or a single svs pb-2000 I like the specs of the 2000 more as I love deep flat bass and I run rew measurements about once a month for fun.

Room is sealed (has a door obviously) and is 20L x 12w rough estimate

Thanks guys whatever you guys pick that's what I am going for.

*KEY POINT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ADD A SECOND MATCHING SUB IN THE FUTURE I ALREADY TRYED TO CONVINCE HER ITS A NO WAY.*

I'd look at Hsu... Dual Drive VTF-2s:

Its a little over your budget when you add shipping, but the ultimate payoff is going to be the better option. Hsu Subs are by far the best bang for the buck. These will seriously outperform the PB1000s as a pair and come in affordably below the cost of 2 PB or PC 2000 Pros.
In short, these are Subs you can live with for the next 10 years and not be wanting for more!
