My Marantz sr 5011 is having audio drop problems, i was gonna exchange it for the
Onkyo TX-RZ810, is this reasonable.? i.e. is Onkyo realiable, equal quality etc...? thank you!!

Onkyo would be a worse choice. Or exchange for a comparably priced Denon.

What do you mean by audio drops, in movies or all input sources? The SR5011 is a decent unit, it's under warranty, if under 30 days swap it, if it's under warranty contact Marantz.

Yeah, I would stick to either Yamaha or Denon/Marantz.
