Help Me Choose In-Walls

I'm in need of 5.1 in wall speakers. I had my eye on The Speaker Company's offering and get 5 of NTIW26 or two NTIW28 and 3 NTIW26.

Now, after some reading I'm starting to consider Def Tech as well, mainly UIW 75 for front and hopefully a pair of slightly cheaper surrounds from Def Tech.

Trying to keep this around $1,000.

You said 5.1. So, you need an in-wall sub as well for under $1k for 6 speakers? That will definitely knock a lot of contenders out.

No Wisdom Audio, no Triad, no RBH and no BG Radia at that price.

I'm not sure about Def Tech. However, Monoprice, The Speaker Company, Aperion Audio and Infinity (get a non-Infinity in-wall sub) (See the Harman E-bay store or the Audioholics store.) are all doable for that price.

If you're willing to do on-walls, check out Axiom and EMP (at the Audioholics store!) as well.

Sorry forgot to mention, I will reuse the Sony sub from off the shelf 5.1 system for now.

Emphasys, Niles, Speakercraft, Sonance, & Pinnacle are all great places to start for in-walls.
