I hardly need your help and I hope you will help me. So 2 or 3 years ago I have bought Helix P12 speaker and here starts all problems:
1) I made box vented by manufacturer’s parameters it sounded very horrible, sound was like from straw from the port because port have to be 7cm (2.7759in) diameter and 18cm (7.0866in) length and box 47 liters.
2) My other box was sealed, and it was around 26 liters. It was silent. I didn’t liked it…
3) The last and today what I am using is box about 47 liters and port is 10cm (3.937007in) diameter and about 42cm (16.5354in) length… It is almost good, but I want to make my box last, by all the rules and the best what I can do, I don’t want to make any boxes for this driver so , friends, help me to build last and correct box.…
So some days ago I saw that there is program called like JBl speakershop, so I started to use it, but I am not that good to understand everything. So could you help me ?
What I want from that box: to play low frequencies clearly and deep, I want deep powerful nice and good base.
