Hello,

I recently got a Dynex 200W Home Theater System, the system came with a 5 inch sub--50 watts. The sub is a piece of junk and the amplifer seems to be lacking in bass and so i was wondering if purchasing a better, self powered sub-- something in the 100-150W range--would make a big difference in sound quality or would buying a higher quality reciever be a better idea? Any thought?

Thanks.
