How can I get movies that were purchased from iTunes to play in WMC? Is this a DRM issue? Are there ways around this?

Thanks!

welcome to the Steve Jobs "reality distortion factor", products sold through the iTunes store play on Apple equipment, it's a proprietary format. There may be format converters out there, hopefully others can help here.

Even if the format was converted, it would still not play due to DRM.

LOL. I have been railing against digital downloads of media for almost a decade now.

We are so totally screwed when physical media disappears.

Let me ask you this: Do you think you actually OWN the Apple movies you downloaded? How would you sell me your copy of The Office Season 1?

It's not the digital download that's the problem, but the DRM... but you know they will never not have DRM on the downloads... long live physical media!

Jobs is not the blame for DRM either because he has never wanted it. Look how long it took for him to get it removed from the itunes music store. DRM is all from the studios.
