Hi! I purcahsed a 2 bedroom loft/condo in March. It is currently being built and it at the stage where framing has been completed, but dry-wall has not yet gone up. I've contacted the electrician and he has agreed to run specific cables/wires through my house for me before dry-walling, but I am extreamly overwhelmed with all the options available for wiring for surround sound, home theatre, etc. and needed specific advice as to what cables/wires I need to acheive the effect I want. I am also open to suggestions for wiring ideas I haven't mentioned here. Thank you! Below, I've detailed what components I will or already have for my theatre home system.
TV: 42" Akai HDTV Plasma
Speakers: 4 x Precision Acoustics 2w 6.5" In-Wall Speakers (See attachment) I still need to purchase a centre channel speaker.
DVD: Yet to be purchased. Preferably a HDTV capable one.
Digital Cable: Yet to be purchased.
Reciever: Yet to be purchased.
I am also wondering/considering having my whole home (master bedroom/bathrooms) for audio and the master bedroom wired for cable and such. As you can tell, there's a lot I don't know about this topic and if I've left any information out, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to provide you with measurements/specs/etc to help you answer my query better.
Thanks so much for taking to time to advise me!
K.
