Help!!denon 4306

I have had the 4306 since the day they arrived in November of 06. Today I have a problem. Here it goes...whenever i switch from an external source, ie dvd or cd (i have anaolgue and denon link) the reciever shuts off the main zone, i then have to turn the main zone off again and this shuts down the reciever, then i have to turn it back on, now i can enjoy cable tv or tivo. does anybody have any ideas. thanks in advance

The 1st thing I'd check, make sure input mode is set to "auto".
