Hello all

Joe B. from Warwick here.

Some of you may already know that I just finishd construction of my new theater room. My room is only 10 by 20 but a nice piece of work if I may say so myself.

At the beginning of this project I was given a Crestron touch panel as a gift, with the included battery supply and base by a friend. (ST-1700C) Unfortunatly I find myself in a predicament now the this project is close to finality, the friend who gave me this touch panel and I are no longer on speaking terms and I have been left to complete the work he started on my own. Like most people I have a budget for my project and now that most of the work has fallen on myself I have to outsource a lot of the technical things I myself am unable to do and this touch panel will prove to be a large strain on my budget unless I can find a way to cut some corners on this touch panel. Some people may think it would be easier and more cost efficient to drop the whole touch panel idea, but I am semi diabled and this touch panel will prove most benficial to me. As said before being that this room is only 10 by 20 and the maximum pieces of gear that will need to be controlled are 6 or 7 including the needed crestron processor and also 2 light dimmers, a "super beefed up" processor should not be needed.

Based upon this information can anyone out there please tell what processor(s), and usable dimmers I can use that are most cost effective and available, I currently have a 2 seperate Lutron dimmers mounted next to each other covered by a double wall plate so it looks like dual dimmers if these can not be used I need to know what dimmers out there I can use that will be able to be intergrated into this Crestron system.

Also note all CAT-5 and other necesssary wiring was done on the pre-wire job before this room was even started.

I had to tried to ask for outside help on this and so far I have met two very dollar hungry salesman who have given me estimates in excess of 3000
dollars even though all wiring has been complete and the touch panel is already in hand, so any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks All!!!
