Hello fellow av lovers. Now this is the first time Ive asked a question on a thread so please bare with me as my questions may be a little novice. Ok here is my issue, I'm having trouble adjusting the sound in my home theater, The audio sounds alright but not great. Here is the equipment I have running and an overview of the room itself. The room is a square 17X14 area dedicated for a home theater, Im using the Onkyo TX-NR609 for sound and video pass through. My fronts are Polk MONITOR 70 SERIES 2 the distance between them is 10ft, they're situated against the wall. My Center is the Polk CS10 and obviously is situated in the center 5ft between the both fronts. The rears are Polk SC80IPR in ceiling speakers (8ft ceilings ) situated just as the fronts, 10ft apart and directly over top the seating area. The reason I opted for in ceilings is that we have a sectional and there was just no room for standing speakers and I wanted a clean look for the room. The Sub is the Polk PSW10 situated in the rear corner of the room hidden behind the bow of the sectional. I am using an Epson 3D PowerLite3010 for video as the distance of the room is 17ft and fits 180inch screen perfect. I play lots of games and watch lots of movies so I have the PS3/Blueray, XBox360 And Nintendo WII U. When I try to adjust the audio I find myself very confused very fast, when I go into the "Audio Adjust" category of the settings it gives me 4 options to choose 1. Multiplex/Mono 2. Dolby. 3. DTS 4. Theater-Demensional and 5 LFE Level. There's just so much options within the options that I dont know anything about and tend to not mess with, like I said it sounds Ok but not great. So if anyone can suggest some tweaks please let me know...
Thanks so much
