I just got my XSUB and maybe I'm not reading the manual very well, but I'm not sure how to set it up optimally. Just thought I would get a clearer response here.

1. Am I supposed to use a Y-spliiter RCA/Sub cable or is a single line Sub cable from my receiver enough? Right now I just have it plugged in to the R-Channel in the sub.

2. How do I set up the crossover? I have set my receiver to crossover to 80. Do I then also set that on the sub crossover dial or max out the crossover on the sub. I wasn't sure which way was correct.

3. I assume volume is self-explanitory

Thanks a lot, any other advice would be appreciated

1) You're fine with the one LFE out from the receiver going into one channel of the sub. If you wish, a cheap "Y" connector can be used to feed that one output into the two inputs but that's not mandatory

2) As for the sub's crossover either set it as high as it can go or disable it if the sub allows this. Many do. RTFM for more.

have fun...
