I believe that most (if not all) Bose speakers really need the Bose amp modules, due to copious DSP applied by the amp. I am sure that others on here know about this better than me.
As far as the Helmer U6 amp, well it looks pretty and it may be a neat and clean way to control a system, but the specs on it are lackluster.
To give you the candid answer, no, neither the Bose speakers nor the Helmer U6 look any good! Those look like a lot of headache, a lot of $, and poor performance!
I am 100% certain that better performance can be had for equal $. If you are sold on the clean install with a touchpad control center, this may make sense for you. But, nobody on this site is going to tell you this is a good way to spend $ for a good system (b/c it is not).
