hdtv in pc

I like to load all my dvd's into my pc and then to projector..pan900..
Is there a dvd unit that I can buy for my PC that will take hdtv and let me upload it into my hard drives?

You can get a HD video capture card for your pc and record HD tv to your hard drive.
