Hdmi Version 1.1 and ONKYO TXSR804

Okay this has been a confusing situation for me lately.

Im trying to figure out if hdmi version 1.1 which is on my ONKYO TXSR804 would give me any issues with blu-ray? as in audio or video thru my ps3. Now i have read that the ps3 is version 1.3a. i have read some wiki info and stuff and i still dont get it. i plan to do hdmi switching.

My main question here is is this something i should be worrying about ?

No. 5's right. It's not like they need to match. The PS 3 just has a little more advanced version of HDMI than your receiver. It'd be like playing a regular CD in a SACD player.

He'll just miss out on a few things, like Deep Color (which isn't availably on any current media formats), and allowing the receiver take care of the advanced audio codecs (which raw bitstream Blu-ray's profile 1.1 won't allow out of the player).
