I have a Toshiba Projector (TDP-SP1U) and a Panasonic upconverting DVD player (DVD-S53K). From what I have read on other threads i can only upconvert with an hdmi cable. However, the projector does not have a hdmi input. It only has vga, s video and composite inputs. Would i need a hdmi to dvi cable, and then a dvi to vga adapter? Also i read about hdcp compliance, but not exactly certain on where that plays a part. I was just wondering the easiest way I can use that DVD player with that projector and still have the upconversion benefits? I appreciate any help. Thanks
