HDMI switchbox...anyone used one?

Has anyone used one of these switchboxes? You plug 2 HDMI (or DVI) switches into the box and run a HDMI cable to the TV. Do they degrade quality? Is it better to just use one HDMI connection and one component connection?


Damn, should have held out for the Denon 3806!

But, I doubt that switching will degrade that digital signal source.

Component cables have enough bandwidth to run 1080i resolution, so I'd stick with your second option.
