Hdmi Signal Trouble Please Help

I have a Samsung 50' 1080 projection tv, connected to an LG dvd surround sound in a box entertainment system. My tv has one hdmi port and its connected to my dvd player. when i first bought everything and hooked it up it worked great but now when i want to watch a dvd in hdmi it will pick up a signal but halfway through a movie it will loose signal.Now its just giving me a black screen but i can still here the sound, ive tried replacing the cable twice and it hasnt helped im not sure if its the tv or dvd player or what any help would be greatly appreciated.......

See if the DVD player will work on another TV. See if the TV will produce a picture from another HDMI source. Then you will know which one to take in for service.
