Will HDMI cable be able to support 1080P signals?

Thanks

Yes, many HDMI cables are frequency tested to levels that allow for 1080p transmission along the cable. There are basically not 1080p sources yet, but the PS3 will include dual 1080p outputs via HDMI.

The spec supports 1080p. Many, many cables, on the other hand, will not - though shorter cables have a better chance. Right now there are only a handful of passive HDMI cables over 25 feet (meaning cable manufacturers) that will pass 1080p. We plan on backing this up with measurements in a bit.
