Ok Guy's, I know there is great debate over this question but what do you think is currently the better connection... HDMI or Component? HDMI carries digital, and component carries analog and then gets upconverted from what I understand. I'm told that the HDMI inconsistencies that exist between cable and TV manufacturers regarding compatability make HDMI a poor choice. Is there any real difference between carrying the analog signal to the HDTV via component cables and then getting processed, vs. carrying the upconverted signal from a converter box via HDMI to the HDTV?
