HDMI for Video, Analogue for Audio?

I had a Denon AVR-4520CI that allowed me to see my Mac Mini desktop on, for example HDMI 3 input. I could specify audio from an analogue source to which I had connected a Mytek DAC. This analogue audio source was for the HDMI 3 input. This allowed me to see my desktop to choose music files to play in a player called Audirvana Plus. I was particularly playing DSD files, for which the Mytek DAC was needed to output these files as native DSD.

I've just learned that Onkyo receivers cannot do this, and it makes me wonder if the NAD T787 has this capability or not. I've returned the Denon to buy a NAD T787, but if it cannot do what the Denon was doing in regard to HDMI video and analogue audio, so that I see my desktop and choose music files, and, at the same time hear my DAC output on the same source, it's a deal breaker.

Any help?
