HDMI And DVI

I have a Sony 60" with DVI input.
Im in the process of buying a new reciever. Here is my question. If your Hi Def DTV reciever has HDMI in/output, your DVD player has DVI or HDMI, your new PS3 has one or the other and what about a recorder? How do you fit all that onto one reciever. obviously im a new guy to all this and i apologize for any unintended ignorance.

Currently there aren't any receivers that have HDMI switching for four devices, so you would need to buy an external switcher. http://www.gefen.com is one source.
