I have just purchased a Sony DVP-NS76H and Toshiba 32 C3030 TV. The Sony has HDMI output. I am wondering whether I need to go buy an HDMI cable or will a SCART cable provide a similar quality picture and sound?
I gather if I use HDMI in need component cables also to carry the sound. Do these have to be quality units (as I assume the HDMI cable needs to be, or are cheap cables good for this?
If anyone can provide me with brief technical background into that supports an answer this would be icing on the cake.
