HDMI 1.3 Cable Compatibility Question

If using a 1.3 compliant receiver; does all your cables need to be 1.3 as well? And, any potential "compatibility" issues by using two older HDMI cables with 1.3 cables? (reason I ask is I already use older HDMI cables) and of course, trying to save $ if at all possible.

i don't think there are real 1.3 cables ...
the cables are all the same, especially if your cables are short, I don't think it matters.
