For those who have not seen it, inetvideo is having a "blow out sale" on HD DVDs. Most all are Uni titles, $5.98 each. Shipping is a bit steep, with the first being $4.98 and $2.00 each afterwards. Lots of good titles, if you are interested. :)
The site has been hammered ever since the sale started, so good luck getting on. The link is to their Ebay site, where they have most of them listed, if you can't get on. You can buy it now for two bucks more per movie, bid on them and wait or you can also call them or click on their live chat to order. I phoned in with no problems. I called late Tues and got a completed notice today (Thurs).

It took mine about a week to get here. Oddly enough, most of the folks I have read about, me included, have been getting them shipped from Canada. Mine came in an airmail package from there. Everything came in good shape and as ordered. I would buy from them again.;)
Tom, did you get your player OK?

I hope i didnt get screwed. I didnt open the discs yet.

Duke.. you reading this. Do i have somthing to worry about here. I just dont want to deal with French menu button on the disc or default french subtitles.

If yours came from Canada also, I believe Canada mandates English/French on the discs. I would expect the menu to be in English and French and the audio in each language or perhaps French sub titles, selectable. Let us know:D

I ordered 6 movies about a week and half ago and just got mine in. Not sure where they came from but like yours they had French writing on but played fine and all the menus were in English. This was a pretty good deal. I think it ended up cost me about $8.50 a pc.

Tom you don't have to worry. All mine Iv'e tried so far have been perfect. They play in English with English menus. I have not checked the subtitles, though.

UPDATE: there are a few more titles on the list and shipping is FREE on orders $50 or more through June 8. Some of the titles have gone up in price, however.

The smartest people either sat it out or were completely purple. They got the best deals. Honestly, if you buy a lot of movies, 'tis better to get the good deals on red. The Paramount and Warner titles are either the same transfer or have better sound on HD DVD (simply due to the studio's preference). Therefore, people who don't have to have everythig in a blue case are finding great deals right now.

I noticed my local Fry's is starting to get a bunch of Universal HD DVD titles from Canada. I smell another firesale (like Warner) brewing.

Hopefully, they will blow out the Paramount, Dreamworks and Opus Arte stuff soon, too.
