HD DVD & Blu Ray with 720P TV

I have the Sony 50" LCD and it only does 720P, will I be able to take advantage of the HD DVD & Blu Ray technology without a TV that does 1080P?

Yes, it will work fine, and if you eventually upgrade to a 1080p set, you're already ready.
