HD-A1/HD-XA1 series firmware update 2.4

Did not see it posted here. (Firmware 2.4 update for XA1 and A1 seriers HD DVD players)


It (from my understanding) adds even better PQ, as well adds better connectivity.
I now see in persistent storage, it added Transformers, Blades of Glory, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, and Shrek the 3rd.

So if you had any problems with those discs, they should be resolved with this update.

The only disc I have had an issue with was Blades of Glory and I am rechecking, this very minute (will report back)

100% Yes most certainly did fix the lock-up issue I was having with that disc.

I knew there was nothing wrong with the disc, as it did play fine on the A2, but locked-up EVERY time in the same place on the XA1.

Glad to see Toshiba is on top of the issues, with excellent firmware updates....
