Having trouble pulling the trigger...help please

I've asked about speakers before, but I've finished my house and a couple of things have changed so I need help again.

I had made up my mind to buy 2 Polk RTi8's for the front, 2 RTi6's for surround, and a CSi5 for the center. I'm still convinced of my sub choice; I'm still going with either the SVS PB12-NSD or 20-39 PCi (whichever shape the new wife likes better). I've heard the Polk speakers and I like them, but here's what has changed:

First, I bought a shelf for my center speaker. It's 12" deep. The CSi5 is 14.5" deep. That seems like it would be an issue. My other main concern (and by far the biggest concern) with the Polk system is that my sofa is against the back wall. I contacted the folks at Polk and they said that the FXi3 speakers would be ideal with the sofa against the back wall, but those require being mounted on the wall...you can't put them on speaker stands. I then went back to the Axiom site. They have the QS8 surround sound speakers that seem comparable to the Polk FXi3's, but Axiom also has a speaker stand for them.

I listen to Bluegrass music, Jazz music, and watch mostly HDTV action/drama shows. So for my room that's 15x17, should I stick with the Polk system I listed before, or go with Axiom M22's for the front, Axiom QS8's for the surround, Axiom VP150 for the center, and an SVS PB12-NSD sub?

Thanks again.
