You didn't notice the expected improvements? Well obviously your system needs 2 or more to really get it optimized

I wonder how much they charge for this scam.

I think a big tip-off is that it isn't UL Listed.

Also, it says it is clocked to the incoming frequency. I wonder what the tolerance is on incoming freq?

I've got one of these Nordost : Products : QBASE Power Distribution plugged into a socket with a line harmonizer plugged in right next to it...and 6 line harmonizers plugged into it with my integrated and cd player.

It's really not that difficult with a little charm, or even just a touch of training. Look at the amount of people that report falling for white van scams. I've seen some videos of these guys pulling off a con and they were AWFUL at it, but knew approximately what to say and talked to so many people that in the end they pulled it off.

I also wonder though, how many people in the high end cable industry actually believe in their product. You know there's some percentage of people who think they're actually doing something really cool.

Depends on what you're trying to pull off. As you say, conning some rube in a parking lot with the possibility of a deal of a lifetime and giving him no time to really think or do research isn't that hard. Turning a BS factory like Nordost into a genuine business OTOH takes real skill.

I also wonder though, how many people in the high end cable industry actually believe in their product. You know there's some percentage of people who think they're actually doing something really cool.

Probably in part depends on what level of the organization you're talking. The "engineers" probably know better, but outside of that who knows.
