Have you ever heard of JA Audio speakers?? Thoughts please...

I bought these a little while ago since I needed some small rear satellite surround speakers. They ran me about $100 a pair and they were nice and small which is what my wife wanted at the time.

Now that I am redoing my system (new Pioneer 1015, new CD player, new Speakercraft fronts), I'm wondering what to do with these rear speakers.

I guess my question is.. have you heard of this company and what are your feelings about their speakers..

Here is a link to ebay where they are for sale all the time.. it states the retail is $249 (doubtful) but selling for $90.. But the feedback from folks seems to be pretty positive.. leaves me confused since I don't know how good or bad rear speakers should sound in my HT.

I'm assuming by the lack of responses here, that these speakers are probably crap. I guess sometimes a non-response gives all the answers needed.

Bose knock-offs. How do they sound by themselves? You could have got a pair of Venturi DV62si's for $25 more.

$100 for those? Yikes. The fact that most people said "As good as Bose" should be a major indicator, as we all know that Bose is not exactly leading any polls here for good sound.

I only heard them by themselves when I first got them so I forget.
They are only my rear speakers, and I'm not exactly an audiophile, so it's hard to really hear how good or bad they are since usually no major or loud sounds comes out of them with most movies I watch.

Yes I do see the anti-bose sentiment here. I shouldn't say this but I've actually liked my 301s for the past 10 years.. Don't crucify me please

yeah you dont really want to trust ebay feedback when it comes to quality of products. Its handy when you want to know if the seller is a fast shipper or not, but when it comes to things like speakers, or electronics, the normal ebay consumer isnt the best source for advice.

The other speakers that they make besides the little cubes aren't terrible, but I feel they are still a little overpriced for what you get also. The cubes and the Lifestyle systems are what give them such a bad name really, being WAY overpriced for what you get. The outdoor speakers are pretty good and their headphones are not too bad. For surrounds, I can see those guys being acceptable.

I love mine couldn't tell the difference between the JA audio double cubed speakers I have and my brothers Bose Acoustimass® 16 speaker system ,he agreed also
