Have you compared these subs?

I am interested in any comparisons you may have made between the following subs I am considering as an upgrade:

SVS PB-10ISD
OUTLAW LFM-1
HSU VTF-2
HSU VTF-3

I listen mostly to multi-channel music and watch an occasional movie. I am mostly interested in accuracy and musicality, not necessarily "thump". Thanks for your input.

In my experience, the most musical subs are always sealed box designs. Ports, no matter how well designed, are a compromise of accuracy for output.

I'm going to have to disagree here.

I don't know what ported subwoofers you've heard, but I have heard some nice ones. Ones that I perfered to sealed.

As WmAx has stated, you can apply an EQ curve to give a ported subwoofer a sealed subs rolloff. This way, you get the lower response of the sealed design, with the efficiency of a ported.

Dave, could you list some of the sealed subs you've listened to that you like, and believe to be better for music than the ported subs listed. I'd like to see what type of equipment your referring to, and get an idea of their price to see if their comparable.
