Hauppauge vs HD HomeRun - which has the best ATSC tuner?

I am building a HTPC Win 8.1 x64, and want to add an OTA tuner to the mix. Because I am using Media Portal, AverMedia OTA tuner cards are out of the question as Media Portal does not support them. That leaves me with Hauppauge and HD HomeRun as choices for an OTA tuner. I am leaning towards the Hauppauge 2250 because it will not take up any extra shelf space, and it has composite / s-video capture features. In addition, I have read some comments that indicate it has a better tuner than the HD HomeRun.

I live in a difficult reception area in a smallish NYS city. I live in a valley where I am reasonably certain that my best signal comes from reflections. I have a Winegard HD 7694 antenna on a rotor in my attic along with a Channel Master extremely low noise, antenna mounted pre-amp.

I am wondering if anyone can definitively tell me which has the better tuner - the 2250 or the HD HomeRun Dual.

Thanks.
