I have a chance to buy a set of Athena S3's at an incredible price. They were mfg in 2004, but they are missing the rubber sleeves that slide over the bottom rails. These are just the S3's, and not packaged with the P3 powered subwoofer that connects into it via the rails. I'll use the subwoofer in my system.
I know they can be used as front speakers in a home theater system, which is what I plan on doing with them. Anyone had experience with them as stand alone speakers in a HT system?
