Edit: It seems to have all of the features everyone was looking for on the new 2500. Of course the price will be lower in the states. I think they just posted it on the Canadian site first. Why, because we rule, there can be no other explanation. (at least none I'm willing to listen too)

I also think that Yammie's receivers - as they progress - get a "cleaner" cosmetic look. On the 4600, there are hardly any buttons. Only about 5 things on the front:

The display
Power Button
Pure Direct Button
Volume Control knob
Input selector knob

The rest is hidden under the door.

It's a new model. I think they're trying to fill the gap after the discontinuance of the RX-V3XXX Series.

Nice this HD Radio Compatibility for the RX-V4600,
but is this a US model only?

The HD Radio Compatibility is not going to be of any use in Europe, or does it also work for other technologies that are used in Europe (we do not have any HD Radio stations)...
