Initially she was fooled by the metal and similar geometric shape of a ring ... but Italians are pretty bright and she saw through the ruse rather quickly. She reciprocated in like manner by whipping a like shaped round can made of a dissimilar metal containing olives at my head.

Seriously the salad spinner was a huge hit and the fact that it is stainless went over big too.
