Is their 2nd movie as funny as the 1st one? I almost died laughing over the 1st one.

darien87 Audioholic Spartan Sep 8, 2008 #9 Sorry, but I thought it was completely lame. I don't think I laughed once. Then again, I thought the first one was pretty stupid. But at least that one made me laugh. I must have rewound that racoon scene about 20 times.

A allargon Audioholic General Sep 8, 2008 #11 I prefer the freshness of the first one. The 2nd one is ultra crass. I did enjoy the nudity. The un-PC stuff is this one is way over the top. Note to the producers, it should be orange soda, not grape soda! Those of you who do Blu-Ray--be warned the 7.1 DTS-HD MA track has some issues. You may want to stick to the lossy 5.1 DTS track. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1033427

M maybetoday Enthusiast Sep 16, 2008 #14 I LOVED the second one. Granted it's dumbed down humor, but once you submit to it the movie is great!

B Bluesmoke Audioholic Chief Feb 1, 2009 #17 When the guy stands up in the pool, I almost threw up. I prefer the 1st one. It's such a simple story: 2 guys who just want to eat burgers. No one's made a movie like that before. The 2nd one just becomes a parody of itself. It tries too hard to make the gimmick work and the entire thing seems forced.

I can confirm that it is horrible, and last time I checked (few weeks ago) there was still not a replacement program implemented. I thought my amp was dying. That bad. DO NOT USE DTS-MA! Sheep said: What do they mean by DNR? SheepStar Click to expand... Digital Noise Reduction. In a nutshell: scrubbing of the picture, so to speak. If you scrub, you might at best cover up some flaws in the master, specks, streaks, stuff like that. OTOH, you will lose grain information. More thoughts I posted here: http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/showpost.php?p=468969&postcount=25 There is DNR used in Band of Brothers, but it's not terrible IMO, and I don't think about it. Pan's Labyrinth is one of the worst IMO. The worst of all, by popular opinion, seems to be Patton, and all DNR travesties are compared to it.
