Last year I purchased a HK avr 3600. It worked great for almost a year when it suddenly stopped decoding digital. It just started processing everything in Logic 7. I called HK and they said they would replace it. When I asked if there was any chance of getting the current model they told me they could do that. Very painless. The whole conversation lasted only about ten minutes. Now as I wait for my new receiver, I am wondering if the 3700 is better, worse, or the same as the 3600. Anybody with any experience with these models care to give an opinion? I know it suppose to have more wattage, but who knows now days with the marketing propaganda. Interested to hear from guys. I assembled my surround speakers based on advice from audioholics, and am more than pleased with the results.
