HarmanKardon 235 or Denon 1906 (or1905)?

Hi!
I want to buy an A/V amplifier. I've been reading a lot about it, and, finally there are two ser¡ous finalists:
- Harman Kardon AVR235
- new Denon 1906 (or 1905)

Someone could tell me which is the best choice, please?

Their both good receivers, however I like Harman Kardon for a couple reasons.

1. American company
2. To my knowledge they have the best warranty, 2 years.

All Marantz receivers come with a 3yr warranty standard. Sony ES receivers have traditionally come with a 7 year warranty (though I still wouldn't buy one).

Note also that the H/K AVR-240 was just released. I'd personally go with H/K over Denon at this price point.

I stand corrected, thanks for setting me straight j. garcia. I always thought most receivers only had a year warranty.

Yes. I've seen at HK homepage the new AVR 240. It includes abrand new Ipod port.

I know this is an ancient thread ... but J_garcia, can you give the reason why you'd prefer the HK over Denon?

what if it was the 335/340/345 HK vs. Denon 2805/2806?
